Today I have a long to-do list!! What is on it?

• bake cookies
• sew
• sew like crazy
• sew some more
• head into town to get more fabric and supplies
• go to the bank
• sew some more
• have dinner with the hubby
• pick up some stuff in town for my sister
• watch Grey's and Private Practice (yay!)

Well It Is Wednesday...

And that means I get to share some things I am loving, along with some pins I am loving!!

I am loving the coconut oil!! I really have noticed a BIG difference!! My skin is healing soo much quicker. I also started taking my vitamin B again, which also seems to help!! Sooo my update is: Coconut Oil is AWESOME and I do recommend it - highly!!!

I am loving my husband like crazy still. You know your husband is sick when he watches your soap operas with you. Poor M got food poisoning. He came home from work early, I found him resting in bed. He is feeling much better today!!

I am loving that I had both cats in the shower with me this morning... silly cats! They like to sit between the curtain and the liner and chase the water running down the liner. Jazz will have no part of this!

I am loving how Gracie acts like Cinderella... when the clock strikes 11 - it is go outside for a pee and straight to bed and when I say straight - she runs... she even skips out on cookie time or grabs it on the go!  I was watching Teen Mom and it was on longer than usual and I would have never known it was 11 if it were not for Gracie and her routine. Crazy dog!

I am loving The Voice!! I can't wait to watch it again tonight... I know it is sad.. but my exercise ball is getting a good work out!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I am skipping out on the link up today, because no one has linked up the last couple of weeks. So if you want to share your opinion, you can leave a link below in the comments or just write your opinions in the comments - whatever is easiest!

I had another amazing night of sleep on my new pillow! M's explorer broke down last night, luckily he managed to get home with minimal steering. I'm not too sure what went wrong with it, but I am also not overly upset, aside from the fact that we have to pay to fix it. I cannot wait to get rid of it - but we already knew that!! 

When M and I were shopping on the weekend, I found THE purple door mat but it was $25 bucks for a door mat, which I thought was ridiculous! M told me to buy it, but of course I didn't, I just couldn't justify it. I got home and told M I should have just bought the mat, I really liked it and it would have matched perfectly. He told me has was going to buy it for me for Valentine's Day. However, M and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day. Well I woke up this morning to my mat!!! I know it doesn't sound romantic, but I was thrilled!! He told me that since it was a gift, $25 for a mat wasn't soo bad and that I wouldn't feel bad having it, because it was a gift. He soo knows me!! I love my husband, and even though we don't celebrate V-day, he totally shows me how much he loves me everyday. Even by buying me this mat. it just goes to show how well he knows me and how I would feel. I really do love him like crazy!!

On to The Bachelor... I will be honest I may have missed a few things last night, as sweet baby K came along with J and we had to get her all caught up on Ben. K thinks Ben needs to cut his hair too - she may have squealed when she saw him on the TV.

I think I need to go to Belize!!

Sorry that statement deserved a paragraph of it's own! So I still dislike Courtney, I agree with Kacie, she is like a black widow, and I found the clip at the end of the episode with Courtney and the tarantula very fitting. I may have also been waiting for it to bite her - not to mention who in their right mind would approach a tarantula? Enough said - we all know she is crazy!

So unfortunately Ben sent Emily home and the reason is probably because of Courtney, but we will never know that. Luckily Kacie and Lindzi are still keepin' it real. Although I would be happy to see Ben with anyone except for Courtney. Soo Emily and Rachel were sent home.

I am guessing by the looks of what the tabloids are saying - Courtney ends up with Ben and then burns him. Surprise surprise... can't say they didn't warn you Ben!

Manic Monday

This weekend just flew on by!!! M and I even squeezed in a lunch date at Eastside Marios!! We didn't reallu get a heck of a lot accomplished this weekend, but M did get some much needed down time! He has working like crazy lately!! We ended up getting the snow storm on the weekend, but that didn't stop us from heading to Hannah's 3rd Birthday yesterday!!

I am sure we all heard about Whitney Houston's passing... I can remember dancing to Whitney Houston with my sister as a child! We used to LOVE her!! Such a shame to lose another singer to what is assumed to be a drug overdose.

I stopped in to visit my Grandma yesterday too, she wasn't in the best mood, but either way M and I had a chance to visit!

I also made one of the best purchases yesterday - I went and bought a pillow from the hotel we stayed at last! It is amazing and I slept sooo good last night!!!

I went off to London with K this morning, while she had an appointment, I visited Brandon and my sister. K and I also realized that we were from this point on Pizza Hut daters. We are the only ones who LOVE Pizza Hut!! I'm soo excited about this!

It was a pretty great laid back weekend and might be the last one for a while, as our renovations are starting soo soon - as in potentially next weekend!! I will try to get some before pics this week!!

Hello Friday!!

Who is ready for a random post? Okay - here we go!!

We have hot water again!!! Oh how I enjoyed my HOT shower yesterday!!

I am sure I have mentioned on the blog before that my skin has been going wild lately. I know that the sun helped it, because it got a bit better in the summer months. Yes we have sun now, but I am not exactly sitting outside in the cold taking it all in. I don't like using chemicals on my face, so ProActiv is like a last resort. I have been doing a lot of research on Coconut Oil. It has a tonne of different uses and seems very beneficial for soo many things, including diet, hair and skin. So yesterday I bought myself a great big container of it. I applied some to my face last night before bed and noticed a difference already this morning. So I put some more on this morning! I will let you know what I think after trying it for a bit longer. I will be using it topically for now, as I want to read up a bit more on different recipes for ingesting it! Does anyone else use this?

I bought a point and shoot pocket-sized camera yesterday. I love my rebel, but sometimes it is nice to have a tiny camera. So bought the Canon Elph 100HS:

I bought in blue just for M!! I also figured it would be easier to find!!

It is going to take some getting used to - that is for sure!! I can't get over how small it is and I was just getting used to not using a screen to take pictures and using the view finder - well this one doesn't have a view finder! But overall I am happy with it soo far!

This weekend I H's THIRD birthday!! Time flies!!! Doesn't feel like a year has gone past since we took this last year on her birthday!!:

But oh how she has changed already!!

We are supposed to get a snow storm this afternoon! Dislike!! Hopefully they are wrong!!

M and I met another sweet little baby last night!! K and S had their baby almost 2 weeks ago and came over last night to introduce us to baby Wyatt! What a sweet little miracle!! He is precious!! I am soo excited for them all!!
