Summer Solstice

Summer is officially here... at like 7:09 tonight or something crazy, although here in Ontario it has felt like summer has been here since April! No complaints!! Yesterday it felt like 40 degrees, which would be 104 degrees Fahrenheit! Today will be just as HOT!

I didn't blog yesterday because I was too busy being pampered!! M had got me a spa package and I decided to finally use it!! A Spa pedi and manicure! I had never had a spa pedicure, just the basic, but wow, Paraffin Dips and foot scrubs are nice, but I could have done without the massages. I am not keen on people rubbing my feet/legs. My manicure is far from perfect, which isn't a big deal, but I won't get her do them again!

I tried to get hubby to guess what color my toes were before seeing them and he guessed purple... but not this time!!! I stepped out the box and decided to go with:

It is called Austin-tatious Turquoise! I love it!!

I even switched up my regular french manicure for some color too:

Mine is the second one from the left and it is called Strawberry Smoothie!  A nice light pink!!

So of course that sums up a bit of what I am loving!

I had a skype date with little Miss Hannah yesterday, she really is too cute for her own good!

I have been editing photos like crazy, which of course is fun, I am almost done that session and ready for tomorrows!!

M is at home sick today, I am hoping he feels better soon!

We have baseball tonight and it is going to be one HOT game! But hopefully we still manage to pull off a win, although we are playing against the league leaders... so we will see. They have not lost a game yet!

M was checking our social calender last night to make sure we weren't planning on entertaining before we leave for our trip because he wants to start packing!!! I'm hoping to have most things packed/gathered on the dining room table by this weekend, because we all know the village does a BIG thing for Canada Day and we will be busy!

I am really looking forward to chopping my hair off tomorrow! M doesn't think I will do it! He thinks I will chicken out again! Only time will tell! But I did change up my polishes this week!

Remember when I posted about buying a PINK bedding set? Well for the first time ever, it is in our bed! M refuses to allow me to take a picture of him in it.

Finish Up Friday

Wow, What a Thursday I had yesterday. It was pretty much a day of waiting around!

But I made it through!

I had an appointment in London for an oil change for the truck and to get it checked over before we drive it out west. My appointment was at 10 AM. I arrived and they told me they were short staffed and that it would take longer.

So what is a girl to do? Get a ride to the mall? I think so! Although the mall that I went to was crappy, I still managed to make out with a few things!

I also got a wedding shower gift, 3 pairs of Capri's, 2 tanks and 2 dog toys!

Score!

I ended up calling my Mom to see if she wanted to meet me for lunch, which she did of course! So we had lunch at East Side's. Now I have lunch for today too!!

I went back to the dealership, in hopes that the truck was done, which is was not and waited around for almost 2 more hours. I have decided to skip out reading The Vow... I have just got bored of it. I took on several people's advice and have started 50 Shades Of Gray. We will see how it goes.

Once I got back to town, I had to stop in town and pick up my prescription and then headed home.

 I found hubby resting in the tent on the newly inflated "airbed". I have forgotten how small a queen is! We are spoiled with a king!

Looks like we are supposed to be spoiled with another HOT weekend!! And as I look at the forecast, it is supposed to be HOT all next week too!!

Wednesday night we mercied the team we played!! 18 - 0!! We were trying to give them a run in, but it did not happen!

This pretty much finishes up my week!

M has ball tonight, I am hoping for another win. He is in a golf tournament Saturday and we are hopefully heading back down to the lake on Sunday!!

What's Up Wednesday?

Typical Wednesday is coming your way today!

I have soo many things that I am loving!!

A big part would be planning our trip! We are super pumped!! I spent yesterday tying up loose ends for the trip, although that is far from finished! We have never travelled out of Province with the dogs, yet alone out of Canada, so I need to make sure I have all of the dogs papers in order for them to cross. They are pretty pumped!

M and I decided to set up the "taj-ma-hal" (tent) last night.We have had it for 5 years and have never used it! I'm sure we will finally get good use out of this wedding gift now! It only took us 30 minutes on our first attempt of setting it up! I thought that was pretty good! Although it is a 3 bedroom tent... we didn't put up any walls! We are borrowing one of those pop up beds and we should get that tonight. So we can see how it will all fit. The dogs came in the tent last night and then sat outside of it when we went in the house. They had the look of "I thought we were camping" on their faces! Too cute! I cannot wait!! 

We have started to make a list of things we need to buy and things we need to take! Sooo pumped!

I am loving this "Words With Friends" game. Anyone playing?

I am loving my hubby, of course, but he does constantly make me laugh. Can't believe our 5 years is coming up in July!!

I love this hair do:

I had it in Grade 8 - the magazine is that old! However I think I might chop my hair like it again! I LOVED it! I always had soo much I could do with it!

Not to mention SMG always had awesome hair!

I also love my new Nike Solarsoft Thong sandals! My feet are super picky and they are light and comfy!!
