Leaking Some Love on Wednesday

You may have noticed a few changes that happened yesterday on the ole' blog! I have finally updated my blog buttons!! Feel free to grab one!!! I also changed my picture. I am loving several things this week as per usual, but this week the weather has been great.

Our co-ed lob ball team is starting up next Wednesday! The team almost flopped, but we have re-vamped it a bit and we are hoping for a great season!!

M has ball here in the village on Friday!!! I love home games!!

M and I have officially decided that we are going to drive out west this summer!! We still need to figure out our route, but we plan on going up through Canada and then home through the states, now that I realized how border crossing with dogs works. So if anyone has any tips, we would love to here them, as well as any must-see spots!!

Lily is still continuing to progress, we have started mixing kibble in her wet food and she is eating regular milk-bones now too!! I took the dogs for a walk last night and we made it even further last night!! We are not quite up to our regular route, but in due time!! She continues to amaze me daily with her spunk and attitude. She will always be a constant reminder of how precious life really is!

Big congrats goes out to J & S, little N and now a baby sister Lauren!!! Glad everything went well and everyone is settling nicely into their new roles!!

Happy Wednesday Friends!!

Wednesday Loves

I am loving that as of right now, I am looking at 6 hours left of work and then a 5 day weekend friends!! There is a chance that I could get asked to work tomorrow, but a slim one.

I am loving that I am going to be hosting dinner for the first time this year and in about 6 months! Our life has just been super hectic and I have really missed entertaining.

I am also loving that my Mom will be coming down to visit me for the first time since she moved!! It has been a long time and we have made soo many changes to the house, that I am looking forward to showing her all of them! My sister and her sweet little family will be joining us for dinner as well!! Hurry up Saturday!! 

I am loving my crazy pets as usual. I really would be lost without them all!

I am loving the family time that will be spent this weekend! It will be soo nice to see my extended family all together again! It happens every holiday, but we really do have a great time!

I am loving that M's Dad seems to be feeling better, but that is only after another trip to the hospital, luckily not by ambulance this time. The doctor is thinking that he is reacting from all the bug bites he got in Roatan and that it is just still venom in his blood causing the swelling. If things don't clear up within the next week or two on the meds, then he will  be referred to a specialist.

I am loving my husband!! I am also looking forward to spending some extra time with him this weekend as well, since we have been soo busy lately!!

Just One Of Those Days....

I am just having one of those days... where you should stay in bed all day - when nothing goes right days. I know I've said before that Tuesday's are my Monday's and today is following suit. It started off with getting up... haha - yes getting up was the worst part!! Then proceeded to me trying to leave the house without my office keys. M was still home, so the two of us were frantically searching the house - that is not any order because of the reno. I'm not someone who usually loses something, but when I do.... and if I was to, now would be a great time because the dining room table is scattered with bits and pieces from the great room! It is crazy! So after searching for 25 minutes, I broke down and called my boss (which I was avoiding because I didn't want him to think I lost my keys - how irresponsible) to ask him if he was at the office and if my keys were on my desk - sure enough they were. Search was over, I was on my way to work! Hopefully the rest of the days goes a bit smoother!

So our weekend was super productive! The walls were painted on Saturday and the floors were started!I also started paint the banister, which I am still not done... it has taken a lot of coats already!! Sunday we had a really long day, but the room was put together! We still need to cap the floors when you go into the dining room, bathroom and foyer, but so far it looks awesome! We also need to trim the foyer still and paint the kitchen ceiling... but I at least have a livable space again! Soo enough of talking about it - I will show you for yourself!

I meant to post yesterday, but we had to pick M's parents up from the Toronto airport, which is typically an hour away.... not yesterday! We got caught in traffic because of a bad accident in Mississauga, which after we got through they closed the highway. Then stuck on the way home.... I hate traffic, especially coming out of Toronto!! M's parents had a great trip to Roatan in Honduras!! 

I also don't have a Bachelor update because I missed most of it!! Thank you traffic!!!

High Five For Friday/Pre-Reno Pics

1. I am off today!!! We were supposed to get a bad snow storm over night, which resulted in a few centimeters, but they say today we are supposed to get more, plus freezing rain. I called my boss to see what the weather was like in the city (because I live about 25 minutes away) and he said it was the same, but I didn't have much billing do and he heard the worst was to come. So he decided that I should stay home, better to be safe than sorry!! No arguments here!!

Typical Wednesday

I really need to come up with a new title for Wednesdays - any suggestions?

I am loving my sweet puppies!! Last night I gave them both pedicures and then decided to trim, the hair between thier paws, as they have been having issues walking on the floors lately. Gracie would just lay there and take all the love and touching she could, with Lily, the girl hates being on her back, so M and I had to wrestle her down and pin her - no dogs were injured, she finally relaxed enough. Now they are both walking a lot better on the floors.

I loved Parenthood last night!!!

I am loving my sweet hubby, as usual, but I know he has been working harder than usual this year, as they are still working hard in the fields. It is some crazy weather we are getting, as they are usually shut down and in the shop doing maintenance on the machines, which is easier.

I am loving our new floors that will be installed by next week! I will be doing a post explaining what is going down with the reno plans! I am excited to tear down a wall and have new floors! I am also excited about a new shower stall, even if it is in M's bathroom!

Manic Monday

This weekend just flew on by!!! M and I even squeezed in a lunch date at Eastside Marios!! We didn't reallu get a heck of a lot accomplished this weekend, but M did get some much needed down time! He has working like crazy lately!! We ended up getting the snow storm on the weekend, but that didn't stop us from heading to Hannah's 3rd Birthday yesterday!!

I am sure we all heard about Whitney Houston's passing... I can remember dancing to Whitney Houston with my sister as a child! We used to LOVE her!! Such a shame to lose another singer to what is assumed to be a drug overdose.

I stopped in to visit my Grandma yesterday too, she wasn't in the best mood, but either way M and I had a chance to visit!

I also made one of the best purchases yesterday - I went and bought a pillow from the hotel we stayed at last! It is amazing and I slept sooo good last night!!!

I went off to London with K this morning, while she had an appointment, I visited Brandon and my sister. K and I also realized that we were from this point on Pizza Hut daters. We are the only ones who LOVE Pizza Hut!! I'm soo excited about this!

It was a pretty great laid back weekend and might be the last one for a while, as our renovations are starting soo soon - as in potentially next weekend!! I will try to get some before pics this week!!
