38 Weeks with Baby V2

How Far Along:
38 Weeks - officially the furthest along I have ever made it pregnant!! Welcome uncharted territory!!

Size Of Baby?

Maternity Clothes?
Yes, but if I'm not going out, you bet I'm in pj pants!

Stretch Marks?
Nope, trying to remember to put oil on at least once a week or more now because I'm nervous they might come this time since I'm soo much bigger!

Gender?
We will find out in 1 week!! How crazy is that.. Just one week away!

Name?
We will share in 1 week!! Our names are pretty much set, I did add in one more girl name that M is in love with, but I'm on the fence!

Sleep?
Not great. Getting up often to pee and rolling over is definitely a process that requires waking up for!

Cravings/Aversions?
Canned peaches! I also made cherry cheesecake this past weekend and I'm not complaining

Movement?
Baby's movement is less crazy, a little slower, more like a baby now. Lots of rolling, hiccups and somersaults, but still breach!! Baby also dropped a bit this week, so the head is no longer up in my ribs, but I have elbowed it on my side a few times, as s/he seems to like lying across me now!

Weight Gain:
33 pounds! Still under my total gain with Noah, yet soo much bigger!!

Feeling?
Anxious to meet this little one! Heartburn is still kicking around, but a bit better since baby has dropped a bit. I actually feel a little smaller now that the baby has dropped a bit as well!

What I Miss?
Sleeping comfortably.

Items Bought for Baby:
Feels soo weird not needing anything really for this baby and having gender neutral stuff already. I will say I bought more girls stuff this pregnancy and will be taking a boy and girl outfit to the hospital this time.

The replacement diaper pail came in the mail and we bought the baby a scale to weigh the baby at home, since the service is no longer offered in our area. It was something we really enjoyed with Noah, so we justified it!

What the doctor had to say?
Blood pressure was high at my appointment, I didn't feel great, so my OB ended up sending me down to triage for monitoring and blood work. I ended up with a small amount of protein in my urine, but baby did well with the non-stress test and my blood work came back fine. My OB said my wheels are wobbling on my wagon, and that I need to take it easy!

Highlights:
Celebrating Easter with our families.

Enjoying family time just the 3 of us, as much as possible lately. I'm sad my days with just Noah and I are coming to end, but soo excited to add in this baby as well. It's a big change for us all and I am excited to experience it, but I will miss my days with Noah!

Belly Button?
In, but part of it pops out when I laugh. Soo creepy!

37 Weeks with Baby V2

How Far Along:
37 Weeks - officially the furthest along I have ever made it pregnant!!

Gender?
We will find out in 2 weeks!!

Name?
We will share in 2 weeks! Our names are pretty much set, I did add in one more girl name that M is in love with, but I'm on the fence!

Sleep?
Not great. Naps are when I have them though. Baby is still sitting super high, so it is hard to get comfortable at bedtime. Bathroom breaks are also at an all time high now as well!!

Cravings/Aversions?
Two-bite brownies over and over please, oh and skim milk too!

Movement?
Baby's movement is less crazy, a little slower, more like a baby now. Lots of rolling, hiccups and somersaults, but still breach!!

Weight Gain:
31 pounds! Still under my total gain with Noah, yet soo much bigger!!

Feeling?
So incredibly tired still, but feeling soo happy to have made it this far along!! Baby is still up in my ribs, but feeling a lot of pelvic pressure, likely from the excess fluid I'm carrying! I'm starting to get nervous about my csection!!

What I Miss?
Sleeping comfortably.

Items Bought for Baby:
A new drying rack for bottles and pump parts! We went with the boon grass one because it's smaller than our old one!

What the doctor had to say?
Meds are controlling my blood pressure so far! We got our csection date, so we are anxiously awaiting that. Baby is still breach. I ended up waiting over an hour for thus appointment, caught a cold in the waiting room, so clearly I wasn't impressed.

Highlights:
The to-do list is just about completed! I started packing our bags, we discussed our plan for Noah with Mikes parents, so that eases my mind. Just have my pump and parts to sterilize and finish packing my bags! I'd like to get the freezer cookie dough done too, but just haven't got around to it!

To celebrate making this far, here is the big old bare belly!! Soo large!!

Belly Button?
In, but part of it pops out when I laugh. Soo creepy!

36 Weeks with Baby V2

How Far Along:
36 Weeks

Size Of Baby?

Maternity Clothes?
Yes, along with comfy clothes and pjs!! I am at the point where comfortable is best!!

Stretch Marks?
Nope, trying to remember to put oil on at least once a week or more now because I'm nervous they might come this time since I'm soo much bigger!

Gender?
We will find out in April!! If you ask Noah, he insists and will argue that it is a girl!

Name?
We will share in April, our names are pretty much set, I did add in one more girl name that M is in love with, but I'm on the fence!

Sleep?
Not great. Naps are when I have them though. Reflux is at its worst when lying down and after meals. Baby is still sitting super high, so it is hard to get comfortable at bedtime.

Cravings/Aversions?
Two-bite brownies over and over please, oh and skim milk too!

Movement?
Baby is moving and grooving like crazy again.

Weight Gain:
29 pounds! Turns out I hadn't gained any weight over the last 2 weeks and actually lost a pound!

Feeling?
So incredibly tired, especially since being put on blood pressure meds. It's a good reminder to slow down, this I know and I am listening to my body, but it is frustrating as well when you just want to get stuff done, but no energy. I remember this feeling on the meds last time too. Reflux and nausea are still kicking around.

What I Miss?
Sleeping comfortably.

Items Bought for Baby:
I bought a scale for the baby since our well baby clinic isn't offered anymore and I will miss weighing this baby every week!

What the doctor had to say?
Well my blood pressure decided to spike, so I ended up on meds. Baby is still breech, so we discussed what my delivery plan/options are and because my blood pressure has decided to go up, the baby is breech and I had a previous section, he thought it would be safest to go ahead with the planned c-section, which I agreed to as well. He wanted to wait an extra week before setting the date to see how my blood pressure was going to respond. So if I go into labor on my own, as long as baby isn't about to come out, I will have a csection regardless. Feels good to have a plan.

Highlights:
The nursery is ready, for the most part, once we know if it's a boy or girl we can finalize the decor!
Getting our maternity pics back - love them all!!!
Checking off more things off my to-do list!

Belly Button?
In, but part of it pops out when I laugh. Soo creepy!

Looking Forward to:
Getting our planned c-section date!
Making it further than my last pregnancy!!

34 Weeks with Baby V2

How Far Along:
34 Weeks

Size Of Baby?

Maternity Clothes?
Yes, along with comfy clothes and pjs!! Any chance I can stay in my pjs I'm on it!
Monday:

Friday:

Needless to say there was a bit of a growth spurt this week!

Stretch Marks?
Nope, trying to remember to put oil on at least once a week.

Gender?
We will find out in April!! If you ask Noah, he insists and will argue that it is a girl!

Name?
We will share in April, our names are pretty much set, I did add in one more girl name that M is in love with, but I'm on the fence!

Sleep?
Isn't great. It's like the first trimester all over with sleepless nights, but mainly I'm just uncomfortable. This second pregnancy has been soo much harder on my body as far as aches and pains go. Granted I'm healthier, so it's either the baby's position or second pregnancy I'm blaming.

Cravings/Aversions?
I really just want a salad! Granted I will feel sick after eating it, but I really want one! Nausea is back, so I'm eating small meals.

Movement?
Baby has slowed down with movement, soo happy to have my Doppler to check in on the baby as I please. Baby still likes straight up the middle. I downloaded a kick counter and have started tracking to make myself feel better and baby does meet the criteria, so all is well. I think I was just used to a crazy mover! Baby picked up activity by the end of the week.

Weight Gain:
30 pounds! I'm thinking that stand still I mentioned last week is no longer the case. I feel larger for sure now!

Feeling?
Tired, achey and sore, but I couldn't be happier all at the same time! I'm soo grateful to be able to experience another pregnancy, I will take the unglamorous parts that come with it! Nausea is back, so that sucks feeling like I'm going to throw up at any given point. Add in the reflux and heartburn and I am a hot mess! I also slipped this week at the park and pulled a lower abdominal muscle, which wasn't very fun!

What I Miss?
Sleeping comfortably.

Items Bought for Baby:
My pump parts came in the mail, along with a pair of baby leggings!

What the doctor had to say?
Baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead again, my amniotic fluid is "generous", which explains the crampy pains I have been feeling and why I'm feeling so large. The doctor isn't overly concerned at this point! I was shocked to see that the baby is no longer head down!! We didn't end up with a photo this time from my ultrasound, but we did get the sweetest glimpses of this baby of ours!! Noah enjoyed seeing the baby as well and insisted that it was a girl and if anyone asked him at the hospital he was sure to tell them it is a girl. He will be quite surprised if it is a boy. Blood pressure is still borderline, so we are just creeping on by while we can! C-section is looking to be the very beginning of April, but we will get a date soon enough! Crazy to think how soon that really is!!

Highlights:
Seeing sweet baby V2 again. I can't wait to meet this baby!

Belly Button?
In, but I will say it is getting shallower!

And just for comparison's sake:

32 Weeks with Baby V2

How Far Along:

Size Of Baby?

Maternity Clothes?
Oh ya...

Shirt (new) - Old Navy    Black Jeans - Gap

Yay for new shirts that are long enough! A lot of my shirts from my last pregnancy are not long enough now. I lucked out with buying a few new maternity shirts while in Florida. I also bough some non-maternity shirts that will work for now and post baby!!

Stretch Marks?
Nope, trying to remember to put oil on at least once a week.

Gender?
We will find out in April!!

Name?
We will share in April, our names are pretty much set, I did add in one more girl name that M is in love with, but I'm on the fence!

Sleep?
Much better now that we are hone in our own bed, but I am just really tired!

Cravings/Aversions?
Skim milk, water and rolo ice cream!!

Movement?
Yes. I think I felt the baby doing crunches in my pelvis...

Weight Gain:
22 pounds! Wasn't as bad as I thought!

Feeling?
Pretty good overall. Swelling is no longer an issue, so my rings are back on! Reflux has started :( I am also getting a dry mouth often. I'm tired despite sleeping well now that we are home, but getting up early I'm sure is to blame despite going to bed early!!

What I Miss?
Warm weather!!

Items Bought for Baby:

What the doctor had to say?
Check up went well. I was in an out! Blood pressure is still borderline. He reccomended cutting my workouts down to just 3x a week to help with swelling. My bump is only measuring 1 week ahead now instead of 2 and weight gain was just a few pounds over the last month! I go back in two weeks and will have an ultrasound to check on growth and we will also be getting our c-section date!! I joked with the doctor how easy this pregnancy is compared to my last and he agreed.

Highlights:
Coming home and getting back to our routine!!

Belly Button?
In, but I will say it is getting shallower!

Nothing like a good old outtake from taking these photos... Lol

Looking Forward to:
Working in the nursery!!!

22 Weeks with Baby V2

How Far Along:

22 weeks

Size Of Baby?

Maternity Clothes?
Still mixing it up where I can, but mostly maternity clothes!!

Stretch Marks?
Nope, but I am putting on oil when I remember to!

Gender?
We will find out in April!! I am really aching to find out lately, but M is making me promise not to find out!!

Name?
We will share in April, our girl names are pretty much set, but boy names are very few, I will say we have two contenders and two middle names all picked out!

Sleep?
My throat has been super sore and with my cold it is making me sleep with my mouth open, which is making for a very dry mouth. I'm considering trying out the new pregnancy pillow I mentioned a few weeks back, as the boomerang pillow is annoying me lately.

Cravings/Aversions?
More Wendy's frosties!!

Movement?
Felt the first kicks on the outside this week!!! Soo exciting!! This baby likes to play!

Weight Gain:
Roughly 11 pounds.

Feeling?
Pretty good overall, my cold was mostly gone by the end of the week!! Backaches are persistent by the end of the day.

What I Miss?
Can't think of anything.

Items Bought for Baby:
Nothing this week!

What the doctor had to say?
My blood pressure is starting to go up, as it naturally should, but my OB is staying on top of it, as this is around the same time mine started to climb when pregnant with Noah too. So I am back in 2 weeks. But everything checked out good with the baby's heart and face, which is what they were looking at with the ultrasound this week!! Baby was super active!

Highlights:
Having Noah moved over to his big boy room, so we can start prepping the nursery for the baby (fill the drawers, etc. Feeling the baby's first kicks on the outside!! Seeing Baby V2 again this week!!
We also took advantage of a date night for the fireman's Christmas party and I am happy to say I made it on two feet this year - you may recall when I was pregnant last time for this party, our date night ended us up in Emerg and I fractured my ankle! We did enjoy our night out!

Belly Button?
In, but I will say it is getting shallower already!

Looking Forward to:
Decorating for Christmas!

These posts will be a week behind, as I am now 23 weeks.

21 Weeks

How Far Along:

21 weeks

Size Of Baby?

Maternity Clothes?
Still mixing it up where I can, but mostly maternity clothes!!

Stretch Marks?
Nope, but I am putting on oil when I remember to!

Gender?
We will find out in April!!

Name?
We will share in April, our girl names are pretty much set, but boy names are very few, I will say we have two contenders and a middle name picked out!

Sleep?
Is not as good as it was last week, but still decent. I am slowly getting more uncomfortable and have a lot of back aches, and now with cold that is waking me up.

Cravings/Aversions?
Dill pickle rice cakes. You, you know I am pregnant when I am eating anything dill pickle flavored. I thought they smelt good when I was getting Noah some, so I tried them and sure enough they were great! Wendy's frosties as well. Vegetable are upsetting my stomach, the only one that doesn't so far is cauliflower. Oh and I can't get enough water these days. I'm still not loving water, but my body is craving it!!

Movement?
Lots of kicks being felt inside, but nothing on the outside yet! Kick are up high though, which I am still getting used to!!

Weight Gain:
Roughly 9 pounds.

Feeling?
Skin is still such a mess and not healing quick at all! Heartburn, and backaches - which I think are caused from the baby sitting so much higher. Having a cold this week has made for some unpleasant moments whenever I cough, I never know if I am going to puke. Being sick is making me irritable and grumpy. I will say that my belly feels like it has slowed down in growth over the last week and a bit, that I actually feel a comparable size to last time, so I checked and yes, this belly is a bit of a different shape, but roughly the same size!

What I Miss?
Not having a cold!

Items Bought for Baby:
A new rug for the nursery that I am in love with. A baby hat from a small shop - stay tuned for details on that.

What the doctor had to say?
We go back next week for another ultrasound and appointment.

Highlights:
Getting Noah's big boy room moving in the right direction. This has been our main focus lately. Visiting with my girlfriend C while she was down this week.

Belly Button?
In, but I will say it is getting shallower already!

Looking Forward To:
Getting Noah's big boy room ready!! Decorating for Christmas!

Baby V2: 4 -12 weeks

Week 4:

Highlights:
- finding out we were pregnant! We were even more shocked this time compared to last time because it was our month off our meds!
- getting the blood work results back and yes, we really are pregnant!!
- told my sister and fertility friends right away (before M) as I was in complete shock. Told M's parents as well.
- telling my mom the big news
- hitting up a BIG maternity sale at both Thyme Maternity and Motherhood!!

Feeling:
Feeling pretty good. I have been going to bed at 9:30 PM most nights and napping when Noah does! Soo tired! That should have been a sign, along with a super sensitive nose, apple juice taste horrible again, peeing like crazy, some minor cramping, but I think that's to be expected. I am super nervous about our ultrasound coming up, but excited too!! I remember feeling this way last time too!! I am going to promise myself to stay positive and not worry unless I have to!

I had a touch of spotting one night, which if course freaked me right out! But it hasn't happened again and the doctor was not concerned whatsoever.

The bloat is crazy this time around, by the end of the day I look 3 months pregnant! It's going to be hard to hide this pregnancy!

Week 5:

Highlights:
- telling my Dad, who was also completely off guard
- telling my cousin while out west, which worked out well because she helped me pull off fake drinking
- going out west

Feeling:
- pretty good
- it was a long week and the time change out west did a number on my sleep schedule. I sure missed out on a lot of sleep and just felt exhausted. Chips upset my stomach this week, apple juice is still horrible, peeing a lot, hiding the bloat is getting tricky! Feeling pretty good though otherwise.

Week 6:

Highlights:
- horse back riding
- coming home from out west, man we missed Mike!
- telling my two closest girlfriends, knowing I couldn't hide it from them!
- sleeping in my own bed and wearing comfy pants!
- we had our ultrasound this weekend and turns out you are 6.5 weeks instead of 7! This makes a lot of sense since we figured I must have ovulated later!! Seeing the heart beating made me tear up.

Feeling:
- tired, definitely napping with Noah when he does.
- enjoying a few baths this week which help me relax.
- nervous for this weekends ultrasound, but excited at the same time
- nauseous after eating a few different things, seems to also just be coming in waves, in the afternoon and before bed.
- Loving milk and water.
- fountain Coke has never tasted soo good!! I hate dark coloured pop, so this is completely bizarre to me!!
- bloating is still crazy, I feel like 3 months pregnant.
- runny nose started up and my lavender oil isn't touching it!! Boy did I not miss that!!
- soo blessed!! Seeing this baby's little heart working already was soo special!

Week 7:

Highlights:
- told one more close friend
- this was a very hard week, with my Dads health scare and then losing our sweet Lily girl!
- looking forward to seeing the baby again via ultrasound on the weekend, which is a perfect reassurance after a week like this.

Feeling:
- tired! Soo very tired!! Nothing is getting done, which is driving me crazy, because I don't have the energy, I sleep when Noah does! Sleeping at night hasn't been good!
- eating sweets is giving me crazy canker sores in my mouth!!
- stressed, heartbroken, sad, upset and tired.

Week 8:

Highlights:
- celebrated my birthday even though I wasn't in the mood to celebrate, but man did that ice cream cake taste good.
- bought Dairy Queen cupcakes!!
- had another ultrasound and it was just what I needed! A nice strong heartbeat of 178 had me in tears. We also found out we get one more at the clinic in a week and a half to officially get our due date!
- busted out the maternity jeans... Only wore them twice... Seems soo early, but why be uncomfortable when I have them sitting in a drawer

Feeling:
- pretty miserable and moody, I will snap out of soon I hope, it's all just from dealing with the loss of Lily.
- done by the day's end with a teething monster
- nausea came back with a vengeance
- amazed with this sweet baby!!

Week 9:

Highlights:
- saw my family doctor for the first time since calling to tell them.
- spent the weekend at the boat
- told some people down at the lake
- finding the baby's heart beat at home with our Doppler!! Love hearing this title peanut!!

Feeling:
- much better mood wise, however patience level is still dwindling with teething taking its toll on Noah! 5 teeth (3 molars and 2 eye teeth - all at once)
- bloating
- nauseous randomly
- tired.
- dry mouth

Week 10:

Highlights:
- having our last appointment at the fertility clinic and seeing this active baby again. Finding out our due date is more of a week... Anytime between April 2-6, 2016.
- heart beat was 167, baby was a dancing machine
- a super busy week, with a super cranky toddler made for one even longer week, but we survived.

Feeling:
- just tired, early mornings are killing me lately
- no nausea this week
- dry mouth
- allergies are horrible

Week 11:

Highlights:
- spilling the beans to our family and friends!
- taking our announcement photos
- took Noah to the farm show... Ended up having to use a portapotty.... Damn pregnancy bladder.
- gave into another craving of chocolate chip quick bread!

Feeling:
- tired - can't wait for more energy
- dry mouth
- finally had my prenatal blood work done and man did it just suck the life out of me - soo exhausted!
- when I cough I feel like I could throw up... Not enjoying this symptom!
- allergies

Week 12:

Highlights:
- having more energy finally!! Not buckets, but I'm at least having productive days and getting back on track around the house!
- gave into the craving for Cherry Cheesecake and I made it at 9 PM! Soo good!!

Feeling:
- more energetic
- allergies or pregnancy rhinitis is really taking its toll in the sleep department and my nose is just raw. Soo sore!
