The sun is finally shining and nice weather is en route!!
Aside from the rainy gloomy first few days of the weekend, Sunday shaped up to be windy, but sunny!! More about Sunday to come...
Friday - ball was cancelled because of the rain, so we went out for Chinese for my FIL's birthday. Yes you read that right... This girl went to an Chinese buffet, despite liking Chinese food, but I do it a few times a year for my inlaws. Nothing like salad, lemon chicken and chicken balls!!
After dinner we had cake at the farm and then went for drinks at the pub here in the village.
Saturday M worked until the early afternoon. When he got home, we had some family time:
Then we got ready and headed into town and met my sisters family and my Dad for dinner at Kelsey's. It was alright, but nothing special that's for sure. The company was good though!
We did a quick shop at Wal-Mart because the little man was hungry. After we got home and a I fed Noah, we gave him a bath, had a quick visit with M's parents and then headed to bed! Noah slept ALL night again! He is really beginning to get the hang of this!!
Sunday morning, I had a nice sleep in and when I got up M was eager to get outside because the sun was finally shining! So off he went to get the lawn brush and did our yard. It looks much better!
This little man turned 11 weeks!!
I managed to make some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from scratch and they are delicious. Rumour has it they will help my milk supply too!!
We have junk pick up this week, so we took a bunch of stuff out to the street, feels soo good to get rid of stuff!! Something about spring!! I'm hoping to have a yard sale this month too!
We enjoyed ribs for dinner and right after dinner we went for a nice walk in the park. We are trying to teach Grace how to fetch, actually she runs after whatever we throw, picks it up, but won't bring it back. She loves running, so we will keep working at it! As we were leaving the park we ran into our new neighbour and their dog. So the girls had a good play while we chatted.
We got home just in time to feed Noah (we had a late dinner) and put him to bed. When we got home we realized we missed M's Mom, who had popped by with the quilt she made for Noah! Her first attempt of a rag quilt!!
I had bought the owl and chevron fabric a long time ago, but couldn't figure out what to make with it! S had suggested the rag quilt and went right to work!! We love how it turned out!!
Today the sun is shining again and we couldn't be happier!!

Looks like a great weekend! Cute quilt! :) I love oatmeal so make it for breaky all the time and make my own cookies with it too. Hope it helps, if not at least they are yummy!
Wait, did you mean to say you don't like Chinese food? Sounds like a great weekend! Love that picture of N.
Funny we both went for Chinese on Friday. It's not my favourite but once and awhile I'm ok with it.
Yay Noah!! Keep up the good sleeping!
So envious of your sunshine! I have to wear sunglasses to prevent being blinded by the snow!
