Weekend Rewind

Our first Saturday in 6 weeks with Daddy!! It was great! Noah loved that Daddy got him up, after of course the whole house let us sleep in until 8:30!!

But let's rewind to Friday first... Because of the rain, Daddy got home early with all the deck boards! I also ended up having a nice nap! Noah stayed up for Daddy's whole ball game again, which was fine, he was in pretty good sprints! Unfortunately they lost by a lot to a little! He fell asleep on the way home and transferred to bed pretty easily.

Saturday it was deck building time!! The pool was finally getting the steps up to it we had been planning for since we put the pool in 2 years ago! We pretty much spent the whole day outside, which was great! I had been fighting the pool being cloudy for the whole week, so I bought a new chemical to try that is supposed to reduce the other chemicals needed and electricity to run the pool because it works soo efficiently! So I vacuumed the pool manually and waited.

Of course Noah wanted to be a part of all the action, and was a great supervisor for Daddy and helper!

Progress:

We decided to go out for dinner just over at the restaurant and suprisingly edgy the service was pretty fast! We came home and went right back outside to work somemore!

We totally lost track of time and next thing we knew it was 7:30, which meant Noah was up 30 min later again! So we went inside, got hm in the tub and then off to bed and went back outside to get a little bit more done, knowing it was supposed to rain on Sunday.

Sunday morning I slept in until Lux woke me up! Brat cat! Noah actually slept in too until 8:30 again! We decided to straight outside, as it wasn't raining yet! Noah was still sporting his pjs but with running shoes of course! We got a little accomplished, as well as breakfast outside, before the rain started! Oh and I won my battle, the pool is nice and clear now!!

It rained off and on throughout the day, but when it stopped we went right out! We were determined to get the steps built!

We succeeded and we couldn't be happier with the finished product! We still want to add railing and now we are talking about doing a deck all across the bumpy patio! We will have to see how much extra it will be of course.

We managed to get the patio sprayed down and the furniture rearranged to fit better too! Overall it was a productive weekend I would say!!
