It is FRIDAY FOLKS!!!

1. I am currently obsessed with my vacation!! Hurry up Sunday!!

2. Today I am happy because, today is my last day of work for a week, I am leaving for vacation soon, there is just too much to be happy about!

3. The age I am is 26 and the age I feel is 16, because I am giddy like a school girl with a bad crush, because I get to go on vacation with my sexy husband!! I also get to see my BFF in Dominican too!! 

4. My favorite place is home! I love our house, full of our stuff, our accomplishments, our life, our fur-babies, our pictures. It just signifies everything important!!

5. Something I have been procrastinating is updating my i-pod, because I need to go through it and delete the songs I don't listen to anymore and it is time consuming! 

6. The last thing I purchased was a double chocolate donut!!! It was my breakfast!!

7. The thing I love most about my home is Everything I listed in #4!!!

I am sooo pumped!! 1.5 more sleeps!! lol Yes, I said .5 because we don't get a whole night on Saturday night, because we leave at like 1:30 in the morning!!

We were at the airport last night picking up the in laws and their flight was delayed. M and I were people watching like crazy, which is something I love to do! I love to see how other people interact with one another. I did wonder how many people just go to the airport to people watch?

How crazy is it to think that I will be leaving 27 degrees Fahrenheit to go to 27 degrees Celsius? That was my random fact for today, because those are the temperatures of where I am today and today's temp for where I will be Sunday!! Ironic?!

I have a few more things to get done before we leave, like switch over my purse, go through my bag again, pack my carry on, update the i-pod, pack our toiletries, etc.

We got more snow!! My drive was horrible today!! I luckily avoided getting t-boned today, someone was watching out for me up there, they obviously want me to make it Dominican!! Thanks..

We are running out of food to eat in our house!! M's parents invited us for dinner tomorrow night, since the whole clan is headed over to the farm for a holiday of their own! The cats are just thrilled to bits!! They will be mean mousing machines over there!! We have also spoiled them a bit to make them feel more comfortable, because we all know cats HATE change!! Especially my Jazz. She has been packing herself in my luggage this past week! Poor kitty! They definitely know somethings up, because Binx, who is Miss Anti-social has been stretched on my lap as much as possible! Jazz has been declining treats and Jazz is not the type of cat to turn down any type of food! Lux, he just doesn't know any better!! We may have been holding out a certain scratch pad filled with catnip from M's parents at Christmas just for their staycation at the farm! Opps, how could we have forgotten?!*** The cats go crazy over this stuff and crash and burn for days after!!

Ham, it used to be bologna, but I think I ate too much as a kid!

Tease Me on Tuesday

I am sorry to keep posting about vacation, but I feel that is all I have to talk about right now. I checked the weather in Dominican and it is 27 and feels like 37. How long will this week last?! I would like to be in Dominican today. I have only teased myself furthermore by viewing pictures online of the resort we are going to!

I will change the subject to The Bachelor! I am going to have to admit I am becoming a fan of Chantel! Yes, she is a bit of an emotional roller coaster, as everyone else thinks as well, but who wouldn't be in her shoes? I suppose I would be like her, if I were in her shoes, after all he is dating 2 other women now and they are all at more serious stages now. How hard would it be to believe in something part-time?! I guess seeing her more in her element did it for me! Also Brad blended well with her family and her dad!

I am kind of glad Shawntel went home, as sweet as she was, I just didn't see things working out, especially after her hometown date. It seems as though her life has been laid out for her, and yes if you meet the right guy, you could change your life plan, but at the same time if you met the right guy he would work into your life. I also thought it was weird how he was flexible to move with the other girls, but not her?! I also didn't like how she forced her career on him. That is such a personal career and I don't know many people who could be morticians or funeral directors. I know I couldn't!

I am not Ashley's biggest fan, although I think we got to know her a bit better last night! I see how important these home town dates are, it really lets the girls be themselves! I also had to laugh about the poutine thing, because I live in Canada, it is pretty much weird to not get poutine! I don't like it myself, but only because I am not a gravy fan! I also thought it was cute when she noticed his crown! However, it turns out she is not quite done her schooling? So is she actually a dentist yet? She doesn't want kids? She doesn't know how she feels about Brad... too many red flags!

Emily's home date was sweet. Her daughter was super shy, but it seems like they made the best of it. Brad seemed weirded out by it all though at the end of the night! I don't know that I see him jumping into that role just yet. I thought he made it awkward and he would barely make eye contact with her. She brought up valid points too and I get he was probably just being respectful, but the girl wants a kiss! I really like Emily, but I am not sure that Brad is the one for her after last nights show.

Next weeks episode looks really good and I doubt I will be watching it! I am super jealous of South Africa! Talk about dream location!! I think that would just be amazing!! I really thought next week would be the stupid girl's tell all episode, which I cannot stand watching, but no, they go and make it a good episode!! Damn!!

I really don't have much else going on right now. My posts may be more limited right now as we are packing and getting ready to go.

Dear Dominican

I cannot wait to see you again, it has been waay too long!! M and I have not been back to see you since our honeymoon, 3 years ago. You were our very first trip away with each other!!

I have missed the sunny beaches and bright blue ocean and in just a short while, we will be headed your way leaving the freshly fallen snow behind!!

See you soon and save me a spot on the beach with a fresh strawberry daiquiri awaiting my arrival!!

Its Friday People!!

It is Friday friends!! The weather is pretty decent, the sun is shining and we are talking positive temperatures!! Oh how I have missed above zero temps!!

You know you live in Canada when it is -2 and people have their car windows down and shorts on! Haha! Yes, it is true, we are crazy like that! Well I don't participate in the shorts thing, but M does, actually he would wear shorts all year round!! I did leave my sunroof  partly open the other night! It also freezing rained while it was open, but luckily it was the back vent that was open and none went inside!! Oppps! Remember how I told you we were going to get a lot of snow possibly next week, well they changed it, so until they change it again, it looks pretty clear, just a few flurries on Sunday! I stand corrected, I just went to double check the weather again, to give you some exact details and they changed it AGAIN! Seriously people, MAKE UP YOUR MINDS! Now we are supposed to get 15 to 20 cm on Sunday and 5 to 10 more on Thursday... Which sucks for a couple of reasons: the snow is finally melting and disappearing... I don't want more, and M's parents come home on Thursday, which means the drive to Toronto might be dicey! Maybe they will change their minds again... here is to hoping!!

Did anyone watch Greys last night? Talk about tear jerker when that man died, also a little freaky with the guy with the knife in his head!! I could never work in Emerg! I also cried during Private Practice when Addison had her melt down and when the lady went to seen the wife of the man who her husband killed... that was hard, but so was the end when they killed the man. Such a harsh scenario! I don't know that I would want what the wife wanted! I get that her husband is gone and so is the father to her children, but I don't know that I would wish that on someone else! My opinion might change if something ever happened in my life, and of course it would take time to decide how to react. They deal with such real topics, not that we have the death sentence here in Canada!

Oh another fun and exciting fact for most of you, IT IS A LONG WEEKEND!! I actually get long weekends every weekend, so I am not AS excited as some of you may be! But Happy Family Day weekend!!

The Positive Post That I Wanted to Post Yesterday

So, now that I have vented in yesterday's post, I can post the entry that should have gone up. I do not like posting negativity, but sometimes life isn't all smiles! But lets get back to those smiles. I cannot sweat the small stuff in life, so I may as well move on to what really matters in my life!

Yesterday M and I spent most of the day together! He had a few things to do in the morning for work and then came home. We bought a new cabinet for the foyer originally, but did not love it there, so we put it in the dining room! He also got me hot pink Gerber's - my favorite!! I love this man! We always say we won't celebrate and then bam, he goes and surprises me!

I was just about to head out the door to the dogs play date and that is when I received the email blabbing all about me (yesterdays post will recap). I was upset and I told M all about it! He was upset too! However, he reminded me that their opinions simply do not matter and that we would find a way to get past it. With all the drama that went down, I didn't end up packing or getting much else done as I wanted to!

I headed around the corner to J's with the dogs. It was slippery, really slippery! I guess there was a flash freezing warning and well it was right! I made it there and once I got in the driveway I wiped right out! Well I should admit to feeling like I was going to fall, but corrected myself 3 times and then went down with the last attempt. I am a tall gal! It is a LONG way down. I haven't wiped out in a long time!! I was surprised that it didn't hurt more really when I did it or afterwards! Here I was thinking I was lucky, until I woke up this morning. My body aches in ways I have never felt before! My butt is sooo sore when I walk. I got home from work last night and checked to see if I had a bruise and I don't yet, but it is very swollen! I had made a joke about having a bruise to accent my bikini on my trip and well, I might just have that! I don't heal very quickly. There must be a cure or a supplement for that!

Was anyone else pumped while watching the end of the Bachelor on Monday? I certainly was! Michelle is gone!! I am sure that Brad knew he was going to get rid of Michelle and went straight to the rose ceremony so that she could not manipulate him, as she did every other episode!! For girls night, we had chocolate brownies, chocolate brownie cheese cake and chips and dip! YUM!

Today I have a full day in clinic, filled with both my own patients, as well as patients for echocardiograms. I won't be back in my office until late this afternoon.

Did I mention how warm is going to get in the next couple of days?! It is going to be 2 degrees tomorrow and 7 degrees on Thursday with rain and 9 degrees on Friday!! That is sooo exciting!! What I won't tell you is that it is supposed to snow 10+ cm on Monday.....

I went for my first tan last night too!! Oh how nice it was!! I need to build a bit of a base before heading to Dominican or I will burn instantly. Not to mention the fact that I am super pale and my skin needs a pick me up!! But fear not, I am not one of those people who gets super dark before going somewhere hot and tropical, I just really need to prep my skin, after all it has not seen the sun in months!

True Feelings Revealed... At My Expense

Manic Monday

Yup. It is Monday again!! Where have the weeks been going? I can't believe we are in the middle of February... smack dab in the middle, which also means it is Valentine's Day. So Happy Valentine's Day!!! M and I don't celebrate anymore, we used to in high school, but now, I would rather spend everyday telling M how much I love him, instead of just one day!! So, with that being said, Girls Night will still be on tonight, although not all the girls will be attending, but the show will still go on!

Back to my weekend, which included a very special little girls 2nd birthday on Saturday, but lets start with Friday night. M and decided to head to a buck and doe with M & J and K & J in town. This was a big eye opener, which may or may not have aged me BIG time! Don't get me wrong, but I love the social aspects of buck and does, but the music was WAAAAYY to loud! I hate having to scream conversations at one another. But, we survived!

Saturday morning, we were waken early by M's pager going off for a medical call at 6:30 AM, not exactly what you want to hear when you didn't get to bed until after 1 AM, but duty calls. I managed to fall back to sleep after letting the dogs out after Mike left. He was back home by 7:30 and invited to go to breakfast with him and the guys at the restaurant, but I decided I wanted to stay in bed. So Mike loaded the girls up in bed with me before he left and we slept until about 9:30 - 10. Mike came home, informing me that he was not at breakfast the whole time, and that he had got another medical call while he was there! So he was a bit behind with his morning plans, but that didn't stop him!!

The magic snow removal fairy came to visit my house!! My front lawn has minimal snow on it now!! How exciting!!! I can wake up and see across the street, my mornings do not have to be miserating anymore!! M went and got the backhoe, tractor and dump trailer and removed all the snow from the front lawn!! We were concerned with the amount of snow and the small drain we have in front lawn, that the snow would end up coming in our basement or something with this warm spell that has started. We are talking above zero temperatures! I know, sooo exciting!! The cats are going crazy watching the icicles drip from the eaves. Too cute!!

When Mike finished that, we headed to my sisters for little Miss Hannah's Birthday!! She is such a doll!! I can't believe she is 2 already!!! Here are a few pictures from her party:

When we got home from the party, we headed down to M and J's and played some dominoes!

Sunday morning I slept in until 10 AM and we had a nice low key day! We headed into town for some groceries. I also had an incident with a bottle of grape pop that I had been looking forward too, until I opened the bottle that had been over-filled and is sprayed EVERYWHERE!! No exaggerations!! Me = Not Impressed!!

I folded 6 baskets of laundry (I was very much behind), vacuumed and watched the Grammies!

Today I am going to work on packing, hopefully I will set up a new storage cabinet in the foyer that M is going to pick up for me and spend the afternoon working on a few things around the house! The dogs have a play date with K & J's dogs Keg and Malaky at some point. And then girls night!

Thoughts For Thursday

Today started with a dark and early start. Yes, I said dark because I was up and awake before the sun was even considering coming out! We had to take M's parents to Toronto to the airport at 2:30 AM! They are probably soaking up the sun as I type this in St. Lucia for 2 whole weeks!

After dropping them off, M and I were home by 5:30, after a stop at Timmy's at 4:30 for hot chocolate and a bagel for myself! I crawled right back into bed and slept until 10:30 AM! Then I quickly got ready because J wanted to have a puppy play date with Lance (a black lab). We decided to take them into town to the dog park, after stopping in to visit her M at work. I picked up some dog cookies and a new kitty kong for the cats, which they LOVE wayyy too much! Every cat should have one of these! They have not left it alone since I gave it to them!

We enjoyed some pitas for lunch, brought one home for M and had a little lunch date, while watching General Hospital from yesterday!

My order came in from La Vie En Rose! I have decided to take the surprise (you can read about it here, if you missed it) to Dominican with us, so you will have to wait a little bit longer to find out how it goes over!

Also, remember that sewing project I did at the end of December? You know, the gazebo topper? Well that has all gone to waste! I did good quality work because the seams and canvas help up, but the frame collapsed! Just another reason to hate this snow!!

I also had a nightmare this morning! I dreamt that we were leaving for our trip, and had just checked our baggage at the airport and while boarding, I turned to Mike with a shocked look on my face, realizing that I had not packed a thing in the suitcases, it was all M's stuff! I only had the clothes on my back! Talk about a nightmare! I woke up after that one! I also put some sun dress aside for the trip this afternoon! It is officially time to start packing when you have dreams like that!

Our garage door opener part is being shipped finally! I am pretty excited!! Now M will be able to install it! He was missing the extension kit from the package that we bought last June!!

So What Wednesday?!

So What If:

• I have sooooo much snow on my front lawn that it is higher than my bedroom window?

• because of that snow I hate waking up, just to look out the window and see it. It is miserating!

• my car was shaking sooooo bad last week because of THAT snow being stuck somewhere, that I couldn't even sing along to my Ipod without sounding like a vibrating mess.

• I have been counting down the days till Dominican!! I am excited!!

• it is sooo cold here that the roads are heaving, creating massive bumps continuously on the roads that my juice jumped out of my cup this morning.

• I sometimes neglect to clean the snow off the dogs when they come in the house, only because it is pure amusement seeing Lux chase the flying mini snow balls when the dogs shake it off.

• I then get frustrated when I step in the snow that Lux has failed to clean up!

• I just used the spell check and it says "miserating" is not a word... It is in my books! I will continue to use it too!

• I took it one step further and googled it and sure enough, it really isn't a word, but it suggested commiserate, which means to feel sorrow towards something. I don't feel sorrow towards the snow, I do not feel bad for it... I am miserable about it/towards it, to the point that I may or may not have went to kick it in disgust and ended up with a sore foot. It should commiserate me!

• I watched Teen Mom 2 and actually felt bad for Janelle, in the sense that she comes from a broken home and her Mom is not a good role model at all. I still don't think she makes good life choices. But it would be hard to figure out good life choices in that situation too!

Manic Monday

What a weekend I have to recap! So here it goes:

Friday night we popped around the corner with the dogs to visit J & K, who just moved around the corner. They have 2 dogs, one is a malamute (named Malakai(sp)) and the other one is a St. Bernard crossed with a Great Dane (named Keg). Keg is pretty much M and I's dream dog, because he would love to have a Great Dane and I would love to have a St. Bernard. However, Keg is only 6 months old and weighs over 100 pounds, but he is a good looking dog. You probably wondering what he would look like, so I will tell you, he is the size of a Great Dane, same hair as a G.D., however his hair is softer than a GD, his head is big like a St. Bernard and his feet are just HUGE! He still has more growing to do! Anyways, the dogs had a great play date, in fact Lily and Keg have a sad case of puppy love! They even cuddled! So we visited with K and J for the evening and headed back home.

Saturday I went bridesmaid dress shopping with N in London. We found the dresses, yes that is pluralized because my dress is different from the bridesmaids.

So after we picked out the dresses we headed over to a shopping plaza with a Winners and Home Sense. I bought myself a new jacket for $22.00, 650 thread count Egyptian cotton sheet set for $32.00, wine stopper for 70 cents, and a hat and scarf set by XOXO for $11.00. Great deals again!! It had started to snow hard when we left Winners, so we quickly popped into Home Sense, where I found another sheet set, but I didn't want to wait in the long line because of the weather, so we left. We grabbed some lunch and headed for the highway, but decided to try one other winners to see if N could get some snow pants for a trip she taking her students on. I bought a new bikini for $11, Adidas shorts for $8, a grey mock neck short-sleeved sweater for $8. We headed home, however the weather had alternate plans! N drives a Honda civic and the snow was coming down like no tomorrow, the highway was as bad as I had ever seen it, no direct lanes, instead of 3 there were 2, but once again, you couldn't tell if you were actually in a lane! It was BAD, we maybe did 40 km/hour. You could not see 1 foot in front of you. We decided to get off and try the back roads. We stopped at a gas station to clean our wiper blades and I offered to drive because I have more experience driving in the snow than N. The car was pushing the snow and I could feel the snow rubbing the bottom of the car. It was crazy. I could have been driving in the middle of a field and wouldn't have know the difference. We almost went in the ditch I don't even know how many times. We decided to stop at her mother-in-law to be's and I would have my brother-in-law pick me up there, since I was supposed to babysit H. We found the driveway and I turned quickly, as cars were in the ditch everywhere and got stuck at the bottom of the driveway (which was uphill). I opened the door and went to step out and the snow was higher than my boot! N and I were laughing at this point! We had such a stressful drive and this was just the ending we needed!

My brother-in-law came and picked me up from there and we headed back to their place. There was no way M was going to come and help me babysit H, so we had dinner without him. I gave H a bath and got her ready for bed and we cuddled on the couch watching one of her TV shows. E and A left for their dance and H and I cuddled on the couch. After about 15 minutes, I took H to bed, and when she crawled into bed half asleep from me rocking her in her chair, she looks up at me after touching one her soft pillows and says "thats niiiice". That is her new saying, holding the i in nice. Too cute! I love that kid! I can't believe she will be 2 next weekend!! Time has gone by soo quickly! M came and picked me up after 11:30, when the snow had finally subsided. I cannot believe how much snow came down in such a small amount of time. M said he even saw a snow plow in the ditch when he came to get me! The roads weren't great when he came to get me, but we made it home safe! That was almost the 1st night since we were married that I would have been without him! Crazy!!

Sunday, I slept in until 10 AM. We headed into town to get some groceries and M needed to get new shorts for volleyball. We stopped at another Winners and M bought jogging pants, I bought a sweater cardi and a button down shirt for work. I also saw a sale at Reitmans, so we stopped in there because I needed a new pair of work pants! I bought 1 pair of dress pants, cords, black pants, a pair of jeans and 2 shirts for $60 bucks! CRAZY good deals! We headed back home and I snuggled into bed for a nap and woke up just in time for the Superbowl game!

Can I say GO GREEN BAY GO!!! That's right, I was rooting for Green Bay!! Good game, but the half time show sucked!! I was disappointed, not that BEP are my favorite! Will I Am was good though!

The reason I am blogging so late today is because J and I had a little trip to town and a lunch date today!

Girls night is happening shortly, but that is what I was up to this weekend. I will have to get caught up on every ones blogs tomorrow!

Oh might I mention that the snow on my front lawn is now higher than my bedroom windows? Yep, it is crazy! I have not seen this much snow in a LONG time! Oh and guess what, it is still bloody snowing out! Less than 3 weeks to go and I am outta this country!

Monthly Monday

Wondering what we will be up to this month? Well here is a list of things we hope to accomplish:

• celebrate Hannah's 2nd birthday!
• paint hardware on kitchen cupboards
• pack for our trip
• go away and enjoy a fantastic trip!

That is pretty much all that is on the list for this month! I know pretty boring right? Stay tuned, I will update you on the CRAZY past weekend I had!

Finally Friday

Monthly Monday is back this month! I just wasn't quite ready for it last month! We just had waay too much going on! This month we have a lot happening as well, but I need to stop using that as an excuse!

We have managed to get a lot accomplished in the last 2 months though, so we will do a mini version of finally Friday! So here is a list of what was completed:

• I got a bedroom door!! M did it all by himself and I painted it! We had it just in time for New Years!
• We got a blind for the bedroom door, since we got a door with glass in it (single french door). We went with a dark bamboo roller shade, so light could still get through, but provides enough privacy!
• We got Gracie a bigger dog kennel! However, we have started to leave time out when we are away for short periods! So far soo good!
• I made the KING size dog bed!! I will post more on this later.
• We made a new gazebo top for the hot tub! This was hard work, I was happy to have M's mom come and help!
• We switched the great room around.
• We also switched the master bedroom around!
• We cleaned the office and it was a pain in the butt and is still really hard to keep clean!
• I bought my indoor recycling bin.
• I died my hair, but I will probably have to do it again before my trip, we will see though!
• I got a blackberry and I probably love it, I am not ready to admit my true feelings for it yet, but it is pretty cool!
• I have been cooking more!! So far nothing has been a complete bust!
• I got new curtains for the great room (not sure if I love them or not, but got a good deal), bedroom and bathroom!
• Worked out a little more, but I'll be honest, not enough!
• The pool table has been set up and played on!
• We started working in the back basement and got rid of a big box of stuff!
• At Lily's last check up, she had not gained weight!! She remained the same! This was a small victory!!
• We hosted several parties and dinner parties!! Soo much fun!
• Bought the dance game for the Xbox Kinect, tried it out a few times.

Monthly Monday will be back next week! I have a whole new list of things that should get done!! Do you have any big plans for this month?

Thoughts on Thursday

Might I mention how weird it is to be working on a Thursday? Or how weird it was to off on a Wednesday? Today feels like a Friday because of this switcheroo! I am sure I will disappointed tomorrow! Amazing how quick habits form, I mean I used to work every week day! I am pretty spoiled to have 2 days off during the week! (It really is a good thing, being as I make the same amount working part-time than I did full-time at my old job..)

So today's thoughts are coming at you with BULLETS!!

• My sister is coming home from Florida today! She will have quite the snowy surprise awaiting her when her plane lands in Detroit today!! Praying for a safe flight and drive home!
• I ordered 2 magazine subscriptions yesterday!! House and Home and Style At Home. I cannot believe how much money you save with subscriptions!! I save like 70% of the cover price!! This investment pays off after only 3 months of buying it in store!

• I cannot wait for those subscriptions to get here! They gave access to the digital copy in the mean time for this month! 
• M and I get to babysit H this Saturday!! So pumped! I love that little girl! I will try to take pictures! 
• It is freezing cold!! We are talking -26 degrees Celsius with the windchill!! 
• Less than a month and I will be soaking up the sun! 
• I have been contact by CSN again!! I am debating between another give-away or a product review!
•   How cute is this dress from Victoria's Secret? I love it!!
• I am thinking about starting to pick out my wardrobe for Dominican!! I know its early, but it might be the one thing to get me through the weeks ahead until I leave!
• Tomorrows post will be all about what I have completed in the last two months! Finally Friday and Monthly Monday are coming back in full force! No more slacking for this young lady!

White Out Wednesday!

No pun intended in today's title... not at all!! We didn't get it as bad as some others, but we still got a fair amount and it is still coming down!! The wind is really the worst part. The dogs are just loving the fresh snow fall though. I did think that the temperature was supposed to get better, but it is freezing out there!

M spent 2 hours snow blowing the driveway! TWO hours people, it usually only takes maximum 1 hour! He said it was the snow drifts.

This morning J called and invited me over for brunch and a hangout with K and herself, so I headed over. We enjoyed omelette's, hash browns, toast and fruit smoothies! We watched some TV, flipped through home magazines and browsed Victoria Secrets dresses online. We also changed around her bedroom!

I don't really have anything too exciting happening right now, maybe because the snow is putting a damper on any possible plans, so have a good day! Stay warm!!

Snow, Bachelor, Vehicles

As I am sure most of you know, there is a BIG and bad snow storm on its way, in fact some of you may be experiencing it! Thank you Texas!! Lol! I just wish we got the weather Texas got, knowing it would melt in no time and it would not be like -20 there! But no, up here in Canada, it was -20 this morning, but the temp will go down to a -9, but we are in for up to 15 cm tonight and another 15+ tomorrow! Can we say CRAZY?! I am not one for this kind of weather! The wind alone is supposed to be nasty and is in fact already blowing strong!

I will admit I was a bit nervous! Nervous in the sense that I have to travel on Wednesdays about a good hours drive away from home and on roads that are NOT good in the winter!! I was freaking out about for tomorrows commute with the storming hitting the hardest over night! I get to work this morning and my boss told me to reschedule my day of appointments! I was like really? He said it was simply not worth it and where I am travelling to has the potential to get worse because it is by the lake, so the lake effect could make it worse! I will not argue with the man! It does get pretty dicey down there! So I have been phoning my patients and rescheduling and most of them have been more than happy to not have to go out in the weather tomorrow!

But it gets better! I will be working on Thursday now this week and my boss has given me tomorrow off!! So I don't have to drive ANYWHERE tomorrow! I can be snowed in! But I might want to hit up the grocery store tonight because I am running out of a few necessities in the house!

Here in Canada we usually laugh at 30 - 40 cm, we consider it nothing, but that was years ago, we haven't been getting this kind of snow for a couple of years now, with the exception of Windsor and London, who have been hit hard this year.

What a great way to start February off eh? Less than a month and I am outta here! I cannot wait!

The Bachelor: How is Michelle still on, especially after last night, and she is the first one to get rose after THAT stint she pulled at the rose ceremony?! I really felt bad for Emily! That must have been sooo hard for her to face, knowing her fiance was a part of nascar! I wanted the other Ashley to go home, although I understand that the one that did go home can probably do better than Brad! 

M and I have been discussing vehicles lately. It has been a BIG subject in our house lately and it is getting BIGGER! Can anyone recommend a good SUV. Not too small though, but decent on gas? As much as I hate the look, I am considering the Ford Flex! Give me some ideas people! I will go into more detail about this at a later date, but give me some ideas!!
