Canada Day Weekend Rewind

What an awesome weekend we had!! Sad to see it pass by soo quickly, but they always do!

Friday we had a wedding in the afternoon, it was a ncoe back yard wedding, weather was hot, but it was a nice low-key wedding. We had to leave shortly after dinner because M had his first ball game of the annual tournament they enter. The groom is actually on their team, however he didn't end up playing that night.

One of my wedding dates:

Friday night is also the village family dance, so we were able to partake in that as well while we were there! They lost the first game unfortunately. We ended up staying at the park until midnight, and then went home and put our sleeping little man in bed!

Saturday morning Noah let us sleep in, right up until it was time to get ready for the parade. He ended up sleeping through the parade and even missed Daddy trying to spray me with his squirt pack. At the end of the parade they pumper comes down the street and sprays everyone and the guys have little back pack sprayers on. It was already a scorcher on Saturday at 10 AM.

Back down to the ball park we all went. They won their second game luckily, but had a big gap inbetween games, so some of the team came back to our place and lounged in the pool! We got it up to 80 degrees this weekend, which is warm for this pool! Noah was still not a fan of the pool! So he had a bath outside instead!

Long story short, they ended up winning the next two games, winning the B division. We stayed at the park for one beer too many, got eaten alive by mosquitoes and came home with a cranky baby, who did not want to sleep!

Sunday morning was the fireman's breakfast. M went for 6 AM, but Noah and I went back to bed and showed up around 9 AM to help!

Sunday afternoon we invited a bunch of friends over for a swim/BBQ. Swimming happened, but the BBQ ended up being an indoor affair as a storm rolled through just as we were about to eat. We were supposed to go down to the fireworks, but ended up staying home and watching them from the front porch, which was kind of nice! Noah didn't seem to mind them from the distance either.

Monday we spent the day packing, tidying up the house, running errands and last minute little things before we left!
