Where There is Something Good....

Yes, today was the royal wedding and Kate looked beautiful! I personally did not get up to watch the wedding but may watch it later on.

The Royal Wedding Album

However, as exciting as the wedding is, it has really taken away from this:

(The owners of this dog lost thier lives and the dog is injured.. heartbreaking...)

Over 300 people have died and that number is only increasing! Tons of people and pets are still missing. This is just devastating! I could not imagine picking up the pieces of my life that have been literally strewn around as if they were nothing. These people worked hard for what they had and now have to start all over again... life is NOT fair!

I know how easy it is to surround ourselves with happy things in life, like the wedding, but where there is something good happening in the world, there is something horrible happening as well. Let us not forget.

So congrats to Kate and Will. I hope they really do live their happily ever after.

Please continue to pray for those people's lives who have misplaced and torn apart, as well as those who are missing and the families of the deceased. Bless the hearts of those who are able and willing to help pick up the pieces! I could not even imagine what these people are going through.

I understand that this is a tragedy, but when there a bad times, aren't you supposed to look to the good things to give us hope? Nobody is forgetting about everyone in the world who is suffering, we're just trying to look at the positive and joyous moments in life as well.

My heart breaks over that. I just can't even imagine the devastation being worse in person than in the photos. The wedding was pretty amazing to watch!

This makes me so sad and sort of angry that people are more into a wedding than this. Keeping everyone involved in my thoughts.

P.S. This is the website for that hard ice tea: http://www.twistedtea.com

Well said...... ♥ and so very true. Praying for those people, my brother is still without power and phone service so I have yet to hear from him :(

Great post!

I'm so glad to see someone remembering the people in Alabama and Georgia amongst the Royal Wedding! It's so sad, and I feel so lucky and blessed being that I'm only one state away from Georgia in South Carolina...Praying for them.
