The Truth About Blogging

Lets discuss blogging!!

I've decided to talk about this after signing into blogger to find porn in my reading list! You bet I was not impressed!! So I decided that I have had enough of these blogs that are no longer blogging. I have 454 blogs on that list! That's a lot of blogs!! Do I read that many blogs? Hell no!! Who has time for that?

Sooo I'm wondering how the the heck do you delete the blogs you no longer want to follow or that are no longer blogs? I know you can "hide" them on your list, but I just want them gone!!  If I could sign into these blogs and unfollow them I would!! But that isn't possible!!

How do you read blogs? I prefer to use my reading list in blogger, that s how I currently do it but I think I might just have to switch over to a reader! Any tips or tricks? I like going to the actual blog, not just reading it in a reader!

I also would like to organize my lists a bit better!!

I'd love to hear feedback on what you do or even what I should do!!

I saw that this morning to! When you're in blogger there's a gadget to "manage your blogs" but it's not working! I wanted to delete certain ones too but it won't let me. If you figure out a way, let me know! I usually read blogs in google reader first and then click over to the blog to comment!

I personally only follow like 20-30 blogs. I know I am rare like that, but it helps me to keep up with my favorite blogs. I have heard that there are feeds which make reading all your blogs easier! Not sure what they're called though :(

I read everything in Google Reader and then click out to the actual blog if I want to comment. BUT...I would LOVE to know how to unsubscribe to blogs. Every time I try they just come back up...it's SO frustrating!!! :( Please share if you find the answer!

I have junk in mine today too!! Not cool and the blog title is one I used to follow. You used to click manage blogs in blogger but now it won't work...grrrr
PS. We had that blog deleted.

I SAW IT TOO!! Someone got hacked i think... not cool!! I use Google Reader and use an X folder to put all the blogs I don't read into... then mark the whole folder "as read" each day. Unsubscribing doesn't work. Blogger hasn't fixed that glitch. :/

If you find out let me know because I'm not sure how to "delete" either!

I actually posted about this recently (for the second time). I've gotten that error message for the "manage blogs" button for close to a year and I have NO idea how to unfollow most of the blogs that I want to delete. Either they don't have the "join this site" button, or they don't exist anymore, or they moved to a different platform! It's infuriating! Let me know if you figure it out!

I use google reader and if I don't want to read a blog anymore I delete it from that. I never read from the list in my blogger because I know there are blogs I subscribed to a long time ago that I no longer read.

I click on the icon next to the "View in Google Reader" on the right side of my Blogger Dashboard. It takes me to "Manage my blogs" and I can delete as many as I want all at once just from the blog title without opening any of the actual blogs. I have never had any issues with the delete process this way. Let me know if you need more info :)

I miss the old blogger dashboard. I've been having the same problem too, and I've been noticing that I am getting a lot of spams for the blog comments.grrrr

I use bloglovin. It's easy and good to use on a cell phone as well. You can also go visit the blog through bloglovin to comment, etc. I'm not sure how to remove blogs from dashboard but there's got to be a way.

Augh! That's totally not ok. I know that my manage reading list tap lets me delete blogs off of it. Maybe try it again? I don't know what to tell you if it's not working for you!
